Personal vs Professional Accounts

There are two types of accounts on the GivEducation Toolkit:

Personal Account

Perfect for an individual educator to explore the Toolkit privately. Not suitable for handling any pupil or staff data. A banner at the top of the screen clearly indicates that the account is for personal use only.

Professional Account

A secure, school-linked account approved for use with pupil and staff data. Fully GDPR-compliant and aligned with UK data protection law. Enables access to all professional features of the Toolkit.

Setting Up an Organisational Agreement

To enable Professional Accounts for staff, your school or trust must first enter into an Organisational Agreement with GivEducation.

This agreement ensures that all data is handled safely and appropriately, and enables your organisation to issue Professional access to staff members.

What You’ll Get with an Organisational Agreement

  • Ensure safe, compliant use of the Toolkit with staff and pupil data

  • Allow staff to upgrade their accounts using a unique Organisation Code

  • Access admin tools and priority support

How to Set It Up

  1. Complete the form below with your organisation’s details (e.g. school name, address, contact lead).

  2. We’ll send a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) to your nominated contact.

  3. Review and sign the DPA.

  4. Once the agreement is signed:

    • We’ll set up your organisation in our system

    • You’ll receive a secure Organisation Code

  5. Share the Organisation Code with your staff so they can:

    • Register for a Professional Account, or

    • Convert their existing Personal Account into a Professional one
