Personal vs Professional Accounts

There are two types of accounts on the GivEducation Toolkit:

Personal Professional
  • Perfect for an individual educator to explore the Toolkit privately
  • Not suitable for handling any pupil or staff data
  • A banner at the top of the screen clearly indicates that the account is for personal use only
  • A secure, school-linked account approved for use with pupil and staff data
  • Fully GDPR-compliant and aligned with UK data protection law
  • Enables access to all professional features of the Toolkit

How to request an Organisation Agreement?

To enable Professional Accounts for staff, your school or trust must first enter into an Organisation Agreement with GivEducation. This agreement ensures that all data is handled safely and appropriately and enables your organisation to issue Professional access to staff members. You or a designated person will also gain access to your organisation’s dashboard where you can manage the accounts linked to your organisation, activate or deactivate tools and see your user analytics.

Organisation Dashboard

The GivEducation Organisation Dashboard gives schools and trusts full control over how the GivEducation Toolkit is used across their setting. Once an Organisation Agreement has been signed, senior leaders, IT managers and administrators can access a secure dashboard that provides complete oversight of their staff accounts, tool access and overall usage.

Through the dashboard, admins can view analytics on how tools are being used, manage members, create sub organisations for individual schools, invite new users and set user roles. The dashboard also allows leaders to customise which tools are visible to staff, enable or disable features, update organisation details and monitor all activity through an audit log. This ensures the toolkit is fully aligned with the needs of each school or trust while keeping everything safe, compliant and easy to manage.

How to Set It Up

Complete the form below with your organisation’s details (e.g. school name, address, contact lead).

  • We’ll send a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) to your nominated contact.
  • Review and sign the DPA.

Once the agreement is signed:

  • We’ll set up your organisation in our system
  • You’ll receive a secure Organisation Code and instructions on how to use the Organisation Dashboard
  • Share the Organisation Code with your staff if they already possess accounts so they can:
    • Convert their existing Personal Account into a Professional one
  • For your team who do not have accounts yet, you can send them links to create accounts
  • Manage what tools are visibile to people in your organisation
