Yes. The toolkit is completely free for schools and teachers in the UK, with no hidden costs or subscription fees.

Do I need to be tech-savvy to use the GivEducation tools?

Not at all. All GivEducation tools are designed for simplicity. Even teachers with minimal tech experience can use them with ease.

Are the tools GDPR compliant and safe for pupil data?

Yes. GivEducation tools are fully GDPR-compliant. Your data is never stored or used to train AI models. Schools can also sign a Data Processing Agreement for extra assurance.

What is the difference between a Personal and a Professional Account?

A Personal Account is for individual exploration of the Toolkit and is not suitable for handling any pupil or staff data. A Professional Account is linked to a school or trust, is fully GDPR-compliant, and allows secure handling of pupil and staff data.

Who can sign the Organisational Agreement?

Only a Headteacher, Data Protection Officer (DPO), or IT lead can sign the Organisational Agreement on behalf of a school or trust.

Why do we need an Organisational Agreement?

It ensures all data is handled safely and in compliance with UK data protection laws, enabling your staff to access all Professional features securely.

Can I use the Meeting Minutes Tool with external guests?

Yes, but you must inform them first. Consent is required before recording or documenting meetings with people outside your organisation.

Can the Letter Writing Assistant translate communications?

Yes. It supports multiple languages including Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish, plus any other language you type in.

How is the WAGOLL Generator adapted for different year groups?

It uses national curriculum-linked writing features tailored to the year group selected, with simplified and extended versions for different abilities.

Can I use the Document Analyser on any file type?

It works with PDFs, allowing you to ask questions, compare documents or find specific sections.

Do the tools support SEN and EYFS planning?

Yes. The Sensory Station and EYFS Activity Maker are designed for personalised sensory and developmental planning.

How do I get professional access for my school?

Your school signs an Organisational Agreement and receives a unique code to unlock all professional features.

Does the AI Chat understand UK curricula?

Yes. It is trained for English, Welsh, Scottish, Northern Irish and Catholic Dictionary curricula.

Can I add my curriculum to AI Chat?

Yes. Contact us at support@giveducation.co.uk to request this. However, you must have an organisational agreement with us in place to do so.

Is the Written-to-Typed Text tool secure?

Yes. Unlike free online OCR tools, it is GDPR-compliant and safe for student data.
